Electronic Music Workshops
We offer workshops for making electronic music using the AIRA hardware (read “knobs and buttons”). This is what we recommend for your first steps.
Beatmaker and Ableton Workshops
Our Beatmaker and Ableton workshops work on their own or in conjunction with the Electronic Music workshops with the AIRA hardware. This series teaches you how to make music using software on your computer, which can also be used with external hardware.
In our DJ workshops we teach beat matching and mixing on the DJ 808 controller recently launched by Roland and DJ-industry-standard Serato. Lead by award winning DJ’s, these workshops will outline how to create and produce a mini DJ set.
Freestyle 2 is an intermediate course focused on providing participants with a better understanding the use of Ableton Live with various hardware synthesizers and sequencers. We recommend taking this course if you have completed a SessionMaster or BeatMaker course and you are familiar with Ableton Live at a basic level.
DJ Live is an intermediate workshop designed to give participants a better understanding of how to utilize Ableton Live and build more interesting sets. If you are a practicing DJ with some passing or even limited experience with Ableton Live, this workshop is for you.
